FLOOR BARRE; is our way of reaching beyond borders from stretching and breathing to strengthening and relaxing, in a combative fitness class honing our inner cores as a dancer and mover. (FREE 30 Min. Class)
*FIT TO DANCE; incorporates a variety of dance styles, including Jazz, Latin and Hip-Hop; into a complete workout with focus on developing core strength and flexibility. Train like a professional dancer, while enjoying the cardiovascular and body-shaping benefits of a workout that combines exciting choreography with upbeat music. No dance experience required.
TAP; from Rhythm Tap to Broadway musical scores, our class will enlighten and revive you to start, refresh and or continue your "Tappic Journey", and with us we hope to incorporate routines in future showcases and production projects.
*STREET FLOW; is our unique class and version of an enticing and invigorating hip-hop/street-pop experience.
TUCK & STRUT; is our featured class with and for Drag Queens to get comfortable dancing in heels and to get comfortable in learning choreography.
**BATHORY is an upcoming dance theatre project (Pre-Production Status)
Origin Dance, a new foundation to storytelling through dance and movement, will embark its journic debut in an original, collaborative and devised nightmare narrative entitled BATHORY about Elizabeth Bathory;
The Blood Countess of the 16th Century; noted as the most prolific killer in world, and being first as female, a revelation.
We aim for a World Production Premiere Fall 2017 and another preview workshop come Fall 2016 with Theater Company of Lafayette. Rhea Amos, Owner/Director of Pandemic Collective; a horror based non-profit 501(c)(3) theater company, has inspired this particular project in lieu of her (Amos') Bathory enrichment, BLood BAth, that had resurfaced May 2015.
Origin Dance is the resident dance & educationdepartment of AM.SWOProductions .
